Assalamualaikum. Good Morning all...

Today is so sleepy day. I don't know why. Haha. Maybe because today is HOLIDAYYYY!! Malaysia Day.. Erm.. What should i write here?

Ahah!! I have got some idea. I think this late morning I would like to share about an interesting issue ..........>>H.A.Z.E<<....  Because the haze phenomena spreads like a"virus" in Malaysia now, I want to start my post based on air pollution topic. That is HAZE. What do you mean by haze?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

According to Asean Haze Action Online, Haze consists of sufficient smoke, dust, moisture, and vapor suspended in air to impair visibility. HAZE pollution can be said to be “transboundary” if its density and extent is so great at source that it remains at measurable levels after crossing into another country’s air space.  What actually the factors of this issue? How it harm our healthy? We will look one by one.

Main factors of the haze :

Open Burning

Smoke From Industries

Transport's Smoke

AVOID YOURSELF FROM DOING ANY ACTIVITIES THAT MAY HARM THE ENVIRONMENT LIKE...............H.A.Z.E !

 AIR POLLUTION INDEX

Further, air quality in terms of human health impacts and implications are categorised as follows under the API system adopted in Malaysia:

                                                   API                                     DESCRIPTOR

                                                   0-50                                          Good
                                                 51 - 100                                      Moderate
                                               101 - 200                                      Unhealthy
                                               201 - 300                                      Very Unhealthy
                                                 >300                                           Hazardous

Table above summarises additional information on general human health effects and cautionary statements within each ofthe API categories. Currently condition in Nilai, the API around 101-200 which is Unhealthy Reading !

Continuous haze will give the negative impact to everyone especially :
  1. Children.
  2. Old Person.
  3. Those suffering from the disease :                                                                                                     -asthma                                                                                                                                             -bronchitis                                                                                                                                         -pneumonia                                                                                                                                       -chronic lung disease                                                                                                                         -heart attact                                                                                                                                       -allergic
  4. Smoker.
  5. They are constantly work outside the office or home.
For your information, this haze affect the economic production (manufacturing and agriculturing), transport, tourism also caused accidents result in loss of lives. It also affect the global environment and climate. Closures of airports and cancellation of flights were common in the region. Economic losses from such dscruption and aircaft and maritime accidents were compounded by steep decline in tourist arrivals. It will decrease the profit of a county like Malaysia due to the limit outdoor activities.

Here, I would like to share some advice to avoid the haze :

  • Mask should be used by all motorcyclist, those who work outdoors or in places that are dusty and even those who are identified as high-risk groups.
  • Reduce the outdoor activities such as jogging.
  • People are advised to always wash the face and the skin using clean water.
  • People are advised to drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses per day).
  • If the haze continues at a dangerous level, those at high risk are advice to get out of the area.
Get treatment and advice of a doctor at a nearby clinic if you have signs and symptoms.

In this peak situation we cannot blame anyone because this is our responsibility to save the earth. As a democrate country, we have to examine the alternative to solve this problems.

----------------------------------THIS STEP WE MOVE ALONG----------------------------------

I dont't want to comment more about this. It is useless if we are blaming other's and at the same time, we busy condemned others (Serious Tone). My advise is the cooperation among country is absolutely need! An Apple a Day Keep the Doctor Away! In Shaa Allah.

That's all overview from me. I hope my next generation will not suffer like me today.
